IMPORTANT UPDATE ON OUR UPCOMING SEASON

DEAR DANCIN’ SCHOOL FAMILIES,

Many of you have asked us “what will dance look like this year?” We’ve been working hard planning a safe and exciting new year and 45th Season. Though we are taking every precaution, we remain ever hopeful for our “new normal.” We will be transitioning to our new schedule and class structure starting Tuesday, September 8.

Registering for Classes

At this time, we are ONLY offering online registration. It will begin Monday, August 10 through the Jack Rabbit app. Watch the quick video on the link below to get familiar with the app.

Confirming Your Schedule

Beginning Tuesday, July 28 you will be notified via text with your child’s placement information. If you have not received anything by Thursday, August 6, please call Ms. Debbie (281.265.1042) at the studio after 3:00 pm on weekdays and after 9:00 am on Saturdays.

Safety

Class size will be limited to 8 – 12 students per class. We will be eliminating the A/B schedule. READ OUR SAFETY PROTOCOLS

We are still offering Zoom classes for students who do not wish to come into the studio. Parents wanting to observe classes are also welcome to use Zoom. Makeup Classes will be via Zoom only. You must give us 24 hours notice to receive the link. We will no longer send out weekly recordings of classes. We will assign a Band App Mom Leader to each class. She will upload all dances to the band for home practice.

Pricing

After 20 years without a price change, we will be increasing tuition by $5 per month. The Annual Registration Fee is $50 per family and will include a free gift. View our full price list here.

Ballet Program Changes

We have restructured our ballet program to better reflect the appropriate levels and offer more classes. We will now have 7 levels of ballet and 3 levels of contemporary ballet. Anyone in Level 4 and above, we strongly suggest taking more than one class per week. Ballet 4 will be 90 minutes. Ballet 5 and up will be 2 hours. Ballet 3 and 4 are eligible for Beginner Contemporary, Ballet 5 is eligible for Intermediate Contemporary. Adv. Ballet and Ballet 6 are eligible for Advance Contemporary. Dancers must attend 2 classes a week to be considered for Levels 5 and above.

Please also note that ALL Company auditions are postponed until further notice.

Let’s make Dancin’ School’s 45th season safe and memorable!
